1.) How do you determine what treatment I will need? Dr. Ari provides a complimentary consultation in which he will perform a facial examination to evaluate the presence of lines and wrinkles and/or the overall texture of your skin. He will assess any wrinkles in question to see if they are the result of muscle activity or volume loss or something else to determine your treatment plan. He will also assess any other skin problems to determine if any skincare products can be of help.
2.) How long does Botox last? Each individual is unique, but ideally around 3-6 months.
3.) How long has Botox been around and is it safe? Botox has been around for over 40 years and has been used on over 10 million people.
4.) How does Botox work? Botox is injected with a very fine needle into the facial muscles that cause fine lines and wrinkles. Botox gives you a more youthful appearance by making it more difficult for muscle activity to occur, thus reducing fine lines and wrinkles.
5.) When does Botox start to work? Though, results very, you’ll probably begin to notice results within 24-48 hours for moderate frown lines. Typically, results become visible in 7-10 days for severe frown lines.
6.) Where is the first and foremost area(s) that wrinkles normally appear? Wrinkles can appear in various places, but the forehead is a likely place for wrinkles to normally appear.
7.) Do fillers have shorter or longer durations on different parts of the face? Yes, for example, since we tend to move our lips a lot, the filler breaks down faster than in different parts of the face. Dr Ari uses a long acting filler that lasts nine to fourteen months.
8.) What is Juvederm? Juvederm is a FDA-approved filler that is commonly used for cosmetic facial enhancement.
