A carbon dioxide (CO2) laser vaporizes the outer layers of the skin resulting in tighter and younger-looking skin with reduced wrinkles. Patients interested in laser skin resurfacing must undergo an at-home pre-treatment regimen for 3 to 4 weeks before the procedure can be performed.
Prices.
The fee for laser resurfacing of the skin around the eyes and mouth is $3,700. The fee for laser resurfacing of the whole face is $4,800. These prices include Dr. Ari's surgeon's fees, up to six after-surgery visits, the anesthesia doctor's charges and the surgical center's charges in Munster, Indiana. If the surgery is done in Illinois the charges are higher.
