Cosmetic Nose Reshaping.

Your nose is one of the most prominent features on your face - if you're not happy with it, there are several surgical options that Dr. Ari can discuss with you.

This is a popular and well-known procedure, typically called a "nose job" it is technically referred to as a rhinoplasty. Hundreds of thousands of Americans elect to undergo this procedure to improve the appearance of their nose. Some want a different size or shape, others may want to restore the original size and shape after a trauma.

Surgery can address several areas of concern regarding your nose's shape and contour:

  1. Reduction of the length or forward projection.
  2. Removal of a hump to contour the midline.
  3. Correct a depression by inserting an implant, bone or cartilage.
  4. Bring a deviated nose in line with the midline of the face.
  5. Narrow one or more segments of the nose - the upper nose or the tip of the nose.
  6. Lifting the tip of the nose.
  7. Decrease the size of the nostrils or decrease the width of the nose's base.

Because of the prominence of the nose among your facial features, you may fear that the results of surgery may be a topic of discussion among family, friends and acquaintances. Family and friends will certainly notice a general improvement in your happiness, but in most instances they will be unable to recall the exact shape and contour of your "old" nose.
