Do you want your thin lips made fuller? Or perhaps your pouty lips made thinner? Maybe it's not the thickness of your lips that's bothering you, but the drooping or sagging. All of these problems can be addressed using cosmetic procedures.
Thicker or fuller lips can be made thinner by reducing them surgically under local anesthesia in an operating room.
Thinner lips can be made fuller by injecting them with your own fat or products like HYLAFORM ®, RESTYLANE ® and COSMOPLAST ® that act as fillers. Fat injection is performed in an operating room under local anesthesia. If you choose to use your own fat, it will be harvested from your abdomen, thigh or buttocks, treated with saline to remove oil and blood before injection into your lips.
Prices.
The fee for fat injection of both lip is $3200. The fee for surgical lip reduction of one lip is $3300, and $4300 if both are done at the same time. These prices include Dr. Ari's surgeon's fees, as many as six after-surgery visits if necessary, the surgical center's charges in Munster, Indiana. If the surgery is done in Illinois, the charges are higher.
