Cosmetic Eyelid Surgery.
So you had a great night of sleep, you feel awake and vibrant - you walk into work and someone asks "rough night?" You look in the mirror and see your tired drooping eyes looking back at you.
Thousands of men and women choose cosmetic eyelid surgery to correct sagging eyelids, resulting in a youthful appearance. Eyelid surgery (or blepharoplasty) can remove fatty pouches below the lower lids and remove excess skin from the upper eyelids.
This procedure can be done alone or with other procedures such as facelift surgery, browlift surgery or laser resurfacing.
Fine incisions are placed in the crease above the eye and excess skin is removed as well as any fat, if necessary. The incisions are then closed with very fine sutures. To remove fatty deposits from the lower eyelids, the incisions are hidden "behind" or inside the eyelid. Procedure time is typically between 1 and 2 hours.
Upper and lower eyelids of both eyes can be done at the same time. Patients can typically return home 1 - 3 hours after the procedure is completed.
Prices.
The fee for two upper eyelids or two lower eyelids is $3400. The fee for all four eyelids done at the same time is $5100. These prices include Dr. Ari's surgeon's fees, up to six after-surgery visits, the anesthesia doctor's charges and the surgical center's charges in Munster, Indiana. If the surgery is done in Illinois, the charges are higher.
